Privacy Policy

Effective July 24, 2026

The short version: FitTrack keeps your training data on your device. There is no account to create, we don't track you, and we never sell your data.

What stays on your device

Your workouts, routines, exercise history, and body measurements are stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device database. FitTrack has no servers of its own and does not upload this data anywhere.

Apple Health

With your permission, FitTrack reads workout, heart-rate, running, and related data from Apple Health, and writes your completed workouts and calories burned back to Apple Health. This exchange happens entirely on your device through Apple's HealthKit. You can grant or revoke this access at any time in the Health app. FitTrack does not transmit your health data off your device.

AI workout import

If you choose to use AI workout import, you provide your own API key for Claude (Anthropic) or ChatGPT (OpenAI). That key is stored securely in your device's Keychain and is never sent to us. When you generate or import a routine, the text you submit is sent directly from your device to the provider you selected, subject to that provider's privacy policy (Anthropic, OpenAI). This feature is optional and off until you connect a key.

Importing from other apps

When you import a CSV export from Hevy, Strong, or another app, the file is read and processed entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded.

Spotify

FitTrack can open Spotify to your workout playlists using standard links. It does not collect your Spotify account information or listening data.

Contacting support

If you contact us through the support form on our website or by email, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide, and use them only to respond to you. We do not add you to any marketing list.

What we don't do

Children

FitTrack is rated 4+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and revise the effective date above.
